Gospel Centered Life Training Events & Mentoring

Drawing from their years of experience planting churches and engaged in cross cultural ministries, Josiah and Barbara developed a series of mentoring and leadership training events which are now offered by World Harvest Mission. Each of these courses or mentoring opportunties can be individually customized to help you develop local ministry and mission that is empowered by grace and satured by the gopsel.

For Pastors and Leaders

We work with leaders to apply gospel principles to church leadership and programs.

1. Mentoring a pastor or pastoral couple through grace and leadership issues using The Gospel Centered Life as a structure.  
   1. Initial meeting(s)
   2.   Four or more calls or meetings over two months  
2. One on one evaluation of ministry and leadership to develop steps forward in gospel centered structure to grow in missional ministry.

With Leaders and Churches

Churches wishing to use The Gospel Centered Life (GCL)

1. GCL Kickoff – Sermons and/or meetings to set the direction and tone for applying GCL as a small group curriculum.
2. GCL Leadership Weekend – introduce leaders or church groups to the gospel concepts.
3. GCL Mentoring – assess and train leaders to become gospel mentors using GCL with individuals or couples and with small groups.
   1. Initial meeting time to assess and introduce concepts. Time: short retreat format Friday PM and Saturday AM or multiple evenings during a week.  
   2. Meeting with key leaders individually for some leadership mentoring.

Leading by Grace Study

Leadership Teams

1. Retreat and/or consultation to develop gospel centered theological foundations and personal application for gospel leadership.  
2. Retreat and/or consultation to build a strategy for local gospel growth and missional ministry.

Costs:

Travel expenses and local lodging.  Honorarium - $500 per session.
The cost is negotiable to include smaller or new churches and ministries and presently supporting churches. Where the Bancrofts can be considered for regular missionary support or if the local leadership will participate in development of new curriculum and research the cost can be adjusted.
